6.3 Homework Answers You may have done #4 differently, and that is ok.

6.4 Homework Answers I worked 3b out with SO2, so if you have SO3, that is fine.

Good luck on the quiz!

5.2 and 5.3 Help

5.2 and 5.3 Homework answers are posted.

5.2/3 Pre-Quiz Key
For objective 5.2, you must be able to use the combined gas law, the ideal gas law (units are very important in this law), and Dalton's law of partial pressures. For Dalton's law of partial pressures, make sure you know how to use mole ratios to find partial pressures as well.

For objective 5.3, you need to able to use stoichiometry with the ideal gas law.

Our lab on Friday is important for the Dalton's Law of Partial Pressures question on the quiz. The total pressure when a gas is collected over water is equal to the pressure of water vapor PLUS the pressure of the gas.

Quiz is Friday.
Unit 5 Exam is Tuesday. 5.2/3 Homework is due Tuesday.

Gas Laws 5.1 help

Here are the 3 worksheets we used in class today:

Boyle's Law

Charles' Law

Graham's Law

If you need the power-point from the past 2 classes over gas laws, here it is: KMT & Gas Laws PP

Finally, here are the 5.1 homework answers. I have not worked them out on this document.  If you need to see the problems worked out, you can come to my seminar.

Unit 5 Begins-Gas Behavior

I will do my best to have your unit 5 exams graded by Thursday. Your homework will be graded soon after. We are not finished with stoichiometry! We will use this throughout the remainder of the year.

Today, you investigated the pressure-volume relationship of gases with a lab. Make sure you have this completed by Thursday. You need 2 graphs, your data chart, and the answers to the questions to turn in. We will begin notes and gas law calculations on Thursday.

Here is your Unit 5 Homework. I am going to start posting answers to the homework problems to help you all out. So, be checking for those before each quiz.

If you ever lose them, here are the Unit 5 Notes.

*NOTE ABOUT TUTORING WEDNESDAY MORNING, as much as I would love to meet at Starbucks instead of the lab, we CANNOT due to overcrowding, the fact that I have nothing to write on & display to everyone, and it will cut our study sessions short because we all have to travel back to the school. Going to starbucks might be an option for Thursday afternoon tutoring, but I have a class to teach directly after the tutoring sesssion on Wed morning. Things would get complicated. Sorry!

Unit 4.3 homework is due on the date of the exam. This will probably be at the end of next week. Remember, the exam is over unit 4 objective 3!

Here is the Objective score sheet in case you need to record some of your past scores. Remember, these are due on test date as well.
